Many of us will be returning to our treatment space after a hiautus due to corona virus so we may want to cleanse the space before it is used to treat clients again. Or perhaps we have the need to cleanse the space after a particularly heavy session with a client. We have all walked into a room where there has been tension and experienced that feeling and we do not want our clients feeling that. Clearing energy becomes a key part in managing the treatment room.
What is this energy?
All living things are comprised of energy; energy and vibrations make up everything that is in the universe. We are radiating energy all the time, and so is everyone else. The tiniest matter known to man is the atom and this is made from energy, everything is made up of atoms therefore everything is energy. We are all open to these energies. As a therapist we can take on energies of a client or someone they interact with. We need tools to prevent us taking on too much negativity otherwise we can feel ill ourselves.
How to protect ourselves
As always preventative is better than anything so as therapists we can cleanse ourselves before seeing or greeting a client by visually imagining an aura or armour of white or golden light around us. Also you can try massaging a little Vetiver essential oil in some carrier oil anticlockwise around the navel, this helps to prevent absorbing unwanted energy or Frankincense smoothed around the aura will work the same way.
How to cleanse a space
Cleansing a room can be a useful thing to do if there has been conflict or any sign of negative energy taken place there. Frankincense cleanses the body, aura, psychic planes and environment removing all negative influences. It will clear any bad feeling left in the air or room from an upset client or friend especially for clearing very deep set emotions left behind.
When walking into a room with negative energy you can clap it away with a couple of drops of essential oils in your palms or use the popular smudge sticks or incense. Be mindful of how long you have between clients if you use incense as they can take some time to clear. If you prefer less of a scent then hydrolats can be carried around and used as a quick fix solution. Spraying rooms, yourselves and even pets or burn oils in the diffuser.
